Have you ever met someone who was successful, an over-achiever and even a little bit uptight? Chances are, this person was an Athena. Athenas, or as we like to call them, “Birds”, are a very logical people. They value intellect and order. Many are very goal oriented, facing their problems linearly by creating plans. Athenas are amazing strategizes because of their linear thought, able to think out every point of a plan.
Athenas can be loyal and family-minded but also pessimistic and unforgiving. One of the highest traits of Athenas is their fierce drive for success. They are strong-minded and mature, always on their A-game. They are competitive and love a challenge, however also love when a solid structure is put into place. Athenas are incredibly disciplined, always ensuring that a project, no matter how big or small, is seen through to its completion.
Many refer to Birds as wise; wisdom emitting from Athenian people in excess. Prominent Birds are often leaders of society. They are looked up to and followed, often viewed as stabilizing figures. Many secretly wish to be able to take care of everything themselves and can often work themselves to the bone as a result.
At times, an Athena can be materialistic and even snobbish, acting as though they know more than anyone else. They can also be extremely generous, however, sweeping in heroically for their loved ones.
While some of the traits of Athenas can make them seem overbearing and difficult at times, their ambition and desire for what is good and right makes them admirable, if not an inspiration.
Athenas are typically viewed as very practical and grounded. Not only do they tend to focus on the material world, they have the ability to use the most out of it. Unfortunately, this also makes them stiff and sometimes too stubborn to move from one perspective or point in time or a relationship. They have a hard time accepting differences of other people that are too far from their own and out of fear might try to impose their traditional values aggressively. This can make them seem cold, distant and unforgiving; prone to the feeling of guilt and turned to the past. They need to learn to forgive in order to make their own life lighter and more positive.
